Designing a Human-Centred Future
Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation. By putting people first, innovations are developed by emphasising its desirability, supported by its technological feasibility and business viability. These three lenses of human-centred design help us envision whether solutions will be successful in the long run.
Institute of Design Knowledge held an online design thinking workshop series with the theme of “Designing Human-Centred Futures”, focusing on personal development, team collaboration, and organisation management. Supported by trainers and facilitators of the local community, participants are guided through the process of design thinking, to apply its process and tools to find out users’ needs and ideate new solutions, with a hope that design thinking can be a starting point for all participants to navigate the future and enable them to seize every opportunity ahead.
